Around 10 km from Kausani, Someshwar Templ was built by the Chand dynasty and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in the Someshwar valley and offers a peaceful environment for devotees and visitors alike.

Though a bit farther (about 50 km from Kausani), the Kasar Devi Temple is a popular spiritual site that has drawn many mystics and thinkers over the years, including Swami Vivekananda.
